Help me to have a bigger heart of mercy by having a bigger heart of joy. That heart of joy comes from knowing God—and not simply knowing about God, but having an intimate relationship with him.

Every once in awhile it becomes important to check my own engine light to see if the tank is empty. After all, I can’t give what I don’t have, so it might be time to refuel.
