Parenting Resources

Introduction

The purpose of this page is to pull together and share various resources I have found for various parenting related topics. Many of the resources shared below will work on mobile devices in addition to your computer.  This will be a living document that I will update as I find new resources so check back periodically to see what is new.

To get started, I am posting some chastity resources.

Chastity

Jason and Crystalina Evert are two of the best chastity speakers out there today. Together, they started a ministry called "Chastity Project".  (You can read more about Jason and Crystalina and their ministry by clicking their names above.) The web site for their ministry is: http://chastityproject.com/. Their web site is full of chastity resources and many of the resources are easy to consume because they are audio and video material that can be found under the "Answers" heading on their webpage. You can also find a collection of their audio and video files under the following links: YouTube Videos, SoundCloud Audio Files.

I have included below a link and a brief description to a couple of my favorite resources:
Jason & Crystalina Evert at NCYC 2009 Kansas City - This is a 42 minute YouTube video where Jason and Crystalina present to a large crowd of youth (primarily high school age) but I believe it would also be appropriate to share with middle school age children and use it to open a discussion with your children. Some of the topics discussed are: chastity, pornography, and forgiveness.
Jason Evert at Jesuit High School in Tampa (2014) -This 1-hour talk was broke up into six individual videos before being uploaded to YouTube.  The link for this talk is to a YouTube playlist that contains those six videos. This is a newer talk with similar content as the NCYC 2009 talk above.  It is a great video but it is geared toward a high school audience and is at a level I would not be comfortable sharing with a middle school student.
Philip Rivers (San Diego Chargers Quarterback) Speaks to Catholic Teens - This is a 20 minute audio recording where Philip talks about Purpose, his faith, growing up, and meeting his wife. O Yeah...and a couple football stories as well.
